Garces Grabler and LeBrocq Reviews

After posting on LegalMatch for an attorney to take over a current workers compensation case, I was contacted by Garces, Grabler & Lebrocq along with a few others. Once I returned their calls I was pleased to find that they had an office in my town. After explaining what my situation was, the scheduled me for an appointment at their office in my town. This was your typical ambulance chaser type of hole in the wall office. Office looked straight out of Staples Catalog style. After a brief conversation and my explaining what my situation was, the attorney (Tiffany) quickly put my previous attorney as inexperienced with my type of case and. Pained to have much more experience and connections to the workers compensation courts which sounded good. My only dilemma with my present attorney is that our communication breakdown was really annoying me and I require at least a return call in a week to be able to retain his services. After speaking with my wife and I the attorney claimed to be glad to handle my case. I explained that time was very important as I had been seen by the surgeon that operated on me a little over a year ago and my case needs to be looked into as soon as possible as well as a notification made to the present attorney. I signed a few papers to allow the attorney permission to take over the case and left. After a few days I received a call from the new attorneys firm requesting that I come in and sign additional papers. Due to me being involved in another time consuming case and doing testimony preparation, I had to respond a week or so later but I made it as soon as I could. I arrived a little after 5pm as agreed upon and was advised that Tiffany was out of town and the secretary claimed to have the necessary papers for me to sign. After signing the papers I asked if their firm could assist a relative with another unrelated case that the previous lawyer was not giving attention to and agreed to pass Tiffany’s card on to my relative and left. I waited for roughly two weeks and had missed two phone calls from the attorneys firm but due to my court preparation appointments I didn’t get home until after office hours and became out of touch with Tiffany. A week later I had gotten a letter from the first attorney advising that he reopened my case (which was the last thing I wanted) and needed me to return to the surgeon “completely ignoring” my explaining that I had been to the surgeon for for a follow up. I quickly called the offices of Garces, Grabler & Lebrocq but was told by the woman on the phone “You don’t have a case with us” and after using my home address, phone number and other information, she could set up an appointment for me to be interviewed. After a heated discussion and me becoming very disgusted with the arrogance of the woman I told her to stuff the case where the sun don’t shine and that I wouldn’t have them represent me. Two days later I get a letter requesting that I attend an appointment that they had set up on their own without checking if I was free. That day I decided to do a Google Search on Ms Tiffany and found that in some form she either was or still is connected to my original attorney (which explained her evasiveness) and set off all kinds of flags and buzzers. Three day later (today) I received several calls from Ms Tiffany at which time she claimed to have left my original attorneys firm but scolding me about my demeanor with her paralegal. When I tried to explain the disgraceful attitude of her “paralegal” she snapped at me “I don’t want your case”! I did a further search on Ripoff Report and the BBB Of New Jersey and found that they have a history of very poor client relations along with a disbarred attorney. I guess things do happen for a reason!!!

I had one of their case investigators Kamel Conde come out to my house. To make a long story short, he agreed to take my case because I was unhappy with my current lawyer. He told me that one of their lawyers will contact me the next week but noone ever did. I called to see what was going on. I was told that they could not take my case, so I asked if they contacted my current lawyer and I was told no. So I contacted my current lawyer only to find out that someone from Garces law firm did in fact call my current lawyer and told him basically I fired him as my lawyer and they would be taking over. Im so pissed off. Why would they tell him that when they knew they didnt want the case. I am reporting these people. So now I have to start over.
